  • During the reconstruction, please check out the updated Resources pages (including the updated Driver Training page with information pertaining to FMCSA's new entry-level training requirements for CDL drivers going into effect February 7, 2022).


  • Representatives from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) hosted a webinar providing an overview of the new  regulations.


Also, National RTAP released an Entry-Level Driver Training Requirements handout detailing the changes and requirements taking effect February 7, 2022.


  • The Scholarships section (located on the Training page) remains fully functional until the new site is launched.

The Wisconsin RTAP program is administered by RLS & Associates, Inc . (RLS) under a contract with WisDOT . Funding for the Program is provided to WisDOT through the Federal Transit Administration's 49 U.S.C Section 5311 Formula Grants for Other Than Urbanized Areas (CFDA 20.509). Wisconsin RTAP assists rural public transit systems and private providers through a variety of training programs, providing scholarships for training and networking events, updating providers on What's New in transit, hosting a transit resource library and archives of the Wisconsin RTAP newsletter, and in many other ways. In-State Conference Dates Postponed/Cancelled

The WAMM Spring Conference was postponed. Please visit the WAMM website for updates on the rescheduling of the conference. 

The WVCA conference for volunteer coordinators originally scheduled for May 7-8 in Madison, WI was cancelled due to COVID-19. Please visit the WVCA website to sign-up to receive information regarding future events. 

The WIPTA fall conference originally scheduled for October 5-7 in Sheboygan, WI has also  been cancelled due to COVID-19. Please check the WIPTA website for future updates.
